Teaming with M Squared in 2007, Josephine Yen has more than 12 years of professional consulting experience. She has completed major business, marketing, information technology, and professional services projects for clients such as Washington Mutual, Ameriquest Mortgage, and E*TRADE.

Yen’s career includes:
  • Analyzing more than 130 data systems, identifying 10 critical ones, and reconciling inconsistencies among them to create a central loan-data repository.
  • Developing and deploying an automated appraisal order-management system.
  • Leading the design, development, and implementation of an events-driven loan-origination system with more than 15 components that dramatically changed the client’s sales, processing, and underwriting processes, integrated to downstream systems, and connected to outside vendors.
  • Leading the development and implementation of an end-to-end Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution for online brokerage accounts.

Her M Squared engagements have included:

  • Mapped core business processes company-wide in preparation for an organizational improvement initiative.
  • Conducted a detailed analysis of three selected processes, defining and assessing a set of productivity gains that will allow the company to leverage growth without adding excessive overhead.
