Collabrus Inside Sales and Marketing Program Manager

Location: San Francisco

 

Position Summary

 

The Collabrus Sales & Marketing Program Manager will execute inside sales and marketing activities to enable a higher quality and quantity of Collabrus sales activity and results.  This position is an exempt position and will work closely with the VP of Business Development and will report to the General Manager of Collabrus. S/he will be a key member of the Collabrus team.

Inside Sales Activities:

 

Lead Collabrus inside sales program and activity tracking and reporting to generate new business:

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop an inside sales program that will support and complement the VP Business Development’s field activities and lead to growth of the Collabrus client base.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Research to develop targeted prospect lists and keep the Collabrus prospect base current
    • Create sales campaigns to produce a steady flow of qualified leads
    • Generate new business telemarketing calls to qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the VP Business Development
    • Create marketing and touch programs to develop awareness of Collabrus services
    • Leverage CRM (Salesforce.com) and other internet tools to:
      • Implement structured client and prospect contact programs
      • Conduct prospect research and improve quality of calls
      • Ensure timely prospect development support
      • Increase the number and quality of touches
      • Increase the number of qualified sales meetings
  • Develop an inside sales program to expand our reach and number of relationships within current clients and targeted prospects to:
    • Increase new Business contacts from new client focus
    • Expand consultant population; Collabrus services within existing accounts
  • Develop consultant campaigns to enhance consultant loyalty and consultant awareness of Collabrus consultant pay programs
  • Streamline and maintain business development tools
    • Manage Collabrus sales library, collaterals, compliance tools and programs
    • Monitor market trends & competition and recommend product / service enhancements
    • Provide sales support for demos of Collabrus online tools
    • Participate in design of solutions regarding automation, other new business programs
  • Implement sales reporting and data analysis to identify trends and contribute to action plans to address shortfalls

Marketing Campaign Management:

  • Working with the VP, Collabrus Business Development and GM, develop plans and implement Collabrus marketing programs:

    • Event Planning:  Briefings, Workshops, Webinars
    • Website Updates. Links and Enhancements
    • Blog editing and posting
    • Marketing campaigns (Client and Consultant)
    • Compliance Tools
    • Business Development Programs
    • Collateral, Presentation and Proposal Library
    • Contract and Key Document Library (shared drive documents and version control)
    • Pricing and RFP/RFI Library
    • Alliance and Client/Consultant Education Program Coordination 

Reports, Metrics and Analysis:

  • Manage the Collabrus CSI program to increase the quality and quantity of Collabrus CSI (Client and Consultant Satisfaction Index) results
  • Manage the optimization, simplification and automation of Collabrus sales activity reports to deliver a comprehensive picture of Key Sales Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Provide monthly analysis of sales KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) relative to targets and trends
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting to management when requested 

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Inside Sales experience with successful results, ideally with business to business services
    • Experience with sales quota or budget driven compensation (revenue and/or appointments set)
    • New business sales experience
    • Confident, selling aptitude, approach and “can do” attitude
    • Proven ability to qualify leads and schedule appointments through telemarketing and other outreach methods
  • Proven experience with marketing campaign management and end-to-end event planning
  • Knowledge and experience with internet marketing tools 
  • Expert CRM (Salesforce.com) proficiency
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; clear, articulate and concise
  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with lead qualification, appointment setting, sales cycle development and field enablement...to keep field sales in front of potential clients
  • Experience with RFI’s, RFP’s would be a plus

A consistent use of technology as a fundamental communications and operational tool is essential. A solid familiarity with the Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and email are minimum requirements.  Creative understanding& application of social networking and market research tools will be a plus. A working knowledge and use of CRM / sales automation (Salesforce.com) tools is a requirement and an expert user is preferred.

 

A competitive salary plus the opportunity to earn commissions based on a two-part commission structure:  (1) new client appointments secured and (2) new client revenue results.  The position is eligible for a 2010 fiscal year annual revenue bonus (FY starts 10-1-09) tied to attainment of Collabrus new business goals. We also offer an excellent benefits package that starts the first of the month following date of hire.  This includes a 401K plan with 25% company match, Medical, Dental, Vision, three weeks paid time off, Short and Long Term Disability insurance, Life Insurance, Section 125 Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Benefit Plan, Long Term Care insurance, tuition reimbursement and a sabbatical leave after six years of service.
