M Squared Survey Sees Economic Turnaround

Economic Recovery 150x150 M Squared Survey Sees Economic TurnaroundThe latest M Squared website pulse survey sheds some decidedly positive economic news as 63 percent of respondents report they are seeing an economic recovery and things are getting better.  Only 15 percent of respondents believe they have yet to see economic improvement, and the remainder of survey respondents are unsure.

While an unscientific survey, the data indicates that many people see glimmers of hope on the economic horizon. Certainly, the economic recovery remains a topic of considerable discussion politically, around the proverbial water cooler and in homes across the nation.

The Growth of the Contingent Workforce

The just-closed M Squared website pulse survey reveals that 90% of respondents believe that the contingent workforce will continue to grow.  Although not a scientific poll, it gives a

clear indication of what our website visitors are thinking, and reinforces the findings of our global 2012 M Squared consultant survey, in which almost 70% of independent consultants provided a similar response.  And we eagerly await the May report from Aberdeen Group which we expect will substantiate the rise of the contingent workforce at companies across America.

New M Squared Consulting Survey Reveals Independent Consultants Upbeat about Their Profession, the Economy

The M Squared Consulting 2012 survey of independent consultants was recently released and the findings were fascinating.  The poll of 530 professional independent consultants found that the flexible workforce has become indispensable to American businesses; it also revealed that an overwhelming majority of consultants are satisfied with their career choice.

In the survey, a solid 69 percent of professional independent consultants agreed that the use of the flexible workforce is now a permanent work model in America. Also, 52 percent of respondents were either cautiously optimistic or very optimistic about the U.S. economy in 2012.
