We believe that with our success comes an even greater responsibility to give back to the communities where we live and work. In addition to providing exceptional value to our clients and consultants, and earning a reputation as an employer-of-choice, we are dedicated to effective corporate citizenship, charitable giving, and a commitment to the environment.
M² gives back through corporate philanthropy, donated services, and employee volunteerism.

2007 Holiday Donation
Each year during the holidays we poll our staff employees to create a list of non-profits to consider for corporate donations. We then ask our Consultant Network to vote, narrowing the field down to the top 6. In lieu of gifts to our clients we make a cash donation to each organization. This year we are proud to contribute, on behalf of M Squared and the M Squared Consultant Network, to the following worthy causes:

Habitat for Humanity
October 2007 (Los Angeles) - Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit organization that seeks to eliminate poverty, housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity encourages self-help by providing a “hand up, not a hand out.” On this Habitat project our hardworking M² team removed and replaced an old rotting fence, did some landscaping, pressure washed the house, and repaired siding. The elderly homeowner was working by our side throughout the day during her breaks as a school-crossing guard.

May 2007 (San Francisco) - On this Habitat project our M² team did everything from pouring concrete, shoveling soil, installing rebar, framing, and hauling heavy equipment. It was "hard work" for those of us who usually spend much of the workday at a desk but tremendously rewarding and satisfying. We even met the future homeowner of one of the properties, who was gracious and appreciative of all of our efforts.
Clean Up of
October 2006 (San Francisco) - Ocean Beach is on the western side of the Golden Gate Bridge, and is maintained by the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. Their mission of "Parks, for all, forever" is certainly a goal we support! Volunteers help keep Ocean Beach clean, safe, and beautiful. Our group, armed with rubber gloves, picks and trash bags, scoured the beach for assorted trash and debris. At the end of the day, we all shared this team member’s sentiment: “It makes me feel good to be part of a company that is so responsible to the community and the environment.”
