John Kunzweiler—Chief Executive Officer
John Kunzweiler joined M Squared Consulting in 2010. He is an experienced consulting executive, having served 26 years at Accenture in key leadership positions such as Global Managing Partner of Alliances, Joint Ventures and Venture Capital. John is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute and frequently serves as a speaker at technology conferences. John has a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business. He is also very active in the community, serving as a board member and devoting time to various civic and educational organizations.
Dirk Sodestrom —Chief Financial Officer
Dirk joined the company as Chief Financial Officer in November 2009. Prior to joining M Squared he spent 3 years as the Corporate Controller for Actel Corporation, a publicly traded semiconductor manufacturer in
Sam Doying —Senior Vice President and General Manager
A product of the Silicon Valley, Sam heads M Squared's Technology Industry Practice. Sam has focused on Technology companies, in both sales roles and in management consulting, for the past 20 years. Most recently, he spent five years as Director of Sales for Sun Microsystems, and prior to that, he spent 12 years with Ernst & Young Consulting and Capgemini. He has his Bachelors degree in Finance from San Jose State University and an MBA from UC Berkeley. Outside of work, Sam serves on the board of directors for SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments), a non-profit providing services to victims of domestic violence. He also sings with a group that performs, as a community service, for retirement home residents throughout the East Bay.
Robert Moore —Senior Vice President and General Manager
Robert leads M Squared s Life Sciences and Growth (LSG) business unit and has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of executive leadership, sales, and marketing roles. Before joining M Squared in 2000, he was director of the Channels Marketing Group for Xerox Corporation and region manager for the Western U.S. for Xerox Engineering Systems. He is a member of the Human Capital Institute and serves as a board member and committee co-chair for the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from USC’s Marshall School.
Kimball Norup —Senior Vice President & General Manager, Collabrus
Kimball leads Collabrus, an M Squared affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary offering premier consultant payroll, consultant management, and compliance services. Kimball joined M Squared in 2007, serving two years as Chief Marketing Officer for both organizations. Prior to joining the company, Kimball was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Nelson Family of Companies. Before Nelson, Kimball was Vice President - Business Development for eSolo.com, and before that was Vice President - Marketing & Sales for Noverus. Kim was with Geodex International for eight years, the last four of which he served as President. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Civil Engineering and subsequently earned an MBA from the University of California at Davis.
Lori Perlstadt —Senior Vice President and General Manager
Lori heads M Squared s Financial Services Industry Practice. Since joining the firm in 1996, she has held a range of senior management, sales and marketing, and business development positions. Her relationship with M Squared began as a satisfied client, when she was senior director of business development at Pacific Telesis. Previously, she was a director of marketing for Royal Robbins, Inc., and a product manager with E. & J. Gallo Winery. She has an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College. She serves on the board of directors of the Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation.
Lori Rhodes —Senior Vice President and General Manager
Lori leads M Squared's Strategic Solutions Group (SSG), one of the firm’s core business units, working with major high-technology accounts. SSG develops innovative, client responsive engagement solutions and delivery models for its clients. Prior to joining M Squared in 2001, she spent 10 years at Xerox Corporation in business development, talent development, and management positions. In her community, Lori has been involved in the Ruby Hill Giving Thanks Charity fundraising event for nine years, serving as sponsor, president, and board chairman. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts Northern California, which helps more than 50,000 girls build character and skills for success in the real world. Rhodes earned a bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University.
Danielle Dowdy —Vice President, Consultant Services Programs
Danielle joined M Squared in 2000. She provides strategic direction for identifying and developing the firm’s vital consultant relationships. Previously, she spent 30 years as a senior manager in the apparel and footwear manufacturing industry, serving as national account sales manager for footwear and for women’s active apparel at Reebok, and as eastern and western regional sales manager at Cole of California. She is the creator of “The Permission Workshop,” a motivational seminar for women.
Meg Hanna - Director of Human Resources
Meg Hanna has more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing human resource solutions that drive results for human resource strategic initiates. Prior to joining M Squared, Meg managed her own human resource consulting firm, and before that was an executive with human resource consulting and staffing firms in the hospitality, technology and retail industries. Meg has served on the Board of the Northern California Human Resources Association and is active in the non-profit organizations Room-To-Read and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Dorinda Parker —Sales Programs Manager
Before joining M Squared in 2000, she spent five years in senior leadership positions at IKON Office Solutions and 20 years in executive management at Xerox Corporation. She has served on the board of directors of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and of the University of Oregon Alumni Association and served as a State of Oregon Economic Development Commissioner. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
John Tarabini —Senior Marketing Manager
John joined M Squared in 2009 after spending 15+ years as a senior marketing executive in Silicon Valley, most recently as the Director of Marketing for the CRM practice at Accenture. He is a graduate of Santa Clara University and currently serves on the board of directors of the San Francisco Wine Association.
