Sales Enablement Specialist (SES) - Strategic Solutions Group
The Sales Enablement Specialist for the Strategic Solutions Group will report to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of SSG. This specialist will be instrumental in facilitating current Business Development Managers (BDMs) to double their revenue and contribution by ensuring their time is spent in front of targeted clients and not as much in planning, targeting, consultant support, appointment setting, and tracking.
This will be done through a combination of two primary activities.
- Pipeline Development
- Consultant Management
Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing a program of sales and consultant support services to include:
- Research to develop targeted client lists by group, funding, initiatives
- Messaging development for target list
- Campaign development:
- Steady flow of new business appointments with targeted lists
- Client and Consultant Satisfaction
- Steady flow of current engagement check in appointments
- Clients – BDM’s
- Consultants – Sales Enablement Specialist
- Action plans developed and executed upon for any issues
- Steady flow of current engagement check in appointments
- Consultant Management for subset of consultants
- On Boarding and technical needs
- End to end on site consultant management support for sub group
- Closed loop communications with BDM/s & VP Consultant Engagemen Management on results and issues
- Marketing and other programs to continue to develop relationships and increase market share within our account/s
- Proposal/RFP/RFI support
- Statements of Work Creation and Review Support
- Research to develop targeted client lists by group, funding, initiatives
- Daily SalesForce.com input:
- Discipline of contact and follow up to meetings
- Ensure that all new business is followed through completely and that a comprehensive 360 degree view is maintained in salesforce.com.
- Reports, Metrics and Analysis
- Manage the ongoing optimization and automation of all SSG sales performance reports to deliver a comprehensive picture of all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Utilizing monthly Einstein pulls, create monthly, quarterly and YTD pivot tables of Revenue By Client Location, By Consulting discipline as well as manage the quarterly clean up of SFDC values (location codes, disciplines
- Provide monthly analysis to SSG mgmt on all KPI’s, trends, and recommended action plans
Essential Role Requirements:
- Sales experience with successful results
- Carried a budget
- In top 20% relative to performance – understand what it takes to be successful
- Assumptive, selling approach and attitude
- Strong business acumen
- Strong SFDC , Excel (Pivot tables) Outlook, and Word proficiency
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple work streams
- Strong organizational and time mgmt skills
- Ability to work autonomously and make appropriate business decisions is critical
- Logical, problem solving skills with examples. Can connect the dots.
- Strong communicator with emphasis on listening skills
- High energy level. High work product output level
- Collaborative skills...ability to collaborate with other groups to develop a stronger faster solution
- BS degree in business or related
- Minimum of 5 yrs exp in sales and related sales support roles, intangible sales experience a plus
Bonus skills and expertise
- Experience with RFI’s/RFP’s,
- Success within Consulting Domain
- Marketing expertise
- Understanding and /or experience with social media in relationship development and opportunity targeting
- A strong facility for, and consistent use of, technology as a fundamental communications and operational tool is essential.
